Sachin Sagare

Sachin Sagare, born in 1981 in Pandharpur, Maharashtra, is an Indian contemporary artist celebrated for his evocative portrayals of rural women. His upbringing in a small village deeply influenced his artistic vision, drawing inspiration from the strength and grace of the women around him.

 

Sagare honed his skills at the Dalvis Art Institute in Kolhapur, earning a Diploma in Drawing and Painting in 2002, followed by a Diploma in Applied Arts from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 2004. Initially working in Mumbai's film industry as a storyboard artist and assistant director, he transitioned to a full-time painting career in 2011 to pursue his true passion.
